What we collect

The board, games page, and guides on this site are free to browse and do not require an account. For Founder's Picks subscribers, we collect an email address to deliver the subscription and manage sign-in. Payment information (card number, billing address, and similar details) is collected and held entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store card numbers on our own servers; we only see a customer ID and subscription status. We also run Google Analytics on the site to understand traffic and usage, gated behind the consent banner described below.

Why we collect it

We use an email address to deliver weekly picks, send account and billing notices, and let subscribers sign back in. We use payment data (processed by Stripe, not us) to charge and renew the subscription. We use analytics data, when a visitor consents to it, to understand which pages and projections are useful and to improve the site.

Who processes it

We share information with a small set of processors who help run the service, and with no one else:

• Stripe - payment processing and subscription billing.
• Google Analytics - site usage, only after consent.
• Resend - delivery of account, billing, and pick emails.

We do not sell or share your information

Opening Line Analytics does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Information is used only to run and improve this service.

How long we keep it

We keep subscription and account information for as long as a subscription is active, and afterward only as long as needed for tax, accounting, and record-keeping requirements.

Deletion requests

To request deletion of your information, email us at [email protected]. We will honor deletion requests except where we are required to retain records by law.

Cookies and consent

We use a session cookie to keep subscribers signed in. Analytics cookies are only set after a visitor accepts the consent banner shown on first visit; declining keeps analytics off for that visitor.

Age and audience

This service is intended for people 21 years of age or older and is not directed at children. It is directed at residents of the United States.
